Can You Tell Me How To Get

How to get to Sesame Street.

This is one of the first toys I remember having as a kid. I loved it. Still love it today. What a great playset - the Fisher Price Little People Sesame Street set.  Getting this set on Ebay is relatively cheap.  Some of the rare, second series character figures might be a bit pricey. Often, you can find them mixed in with the regular set for a good deal.

Anyway - this is a fun set. The fold out two building set can make for a good playset for other types of toys as well.

442nd Japanese American Soldiers from Dragon - 1/6 GI Joe Style

Wow - it's been a long time since I did anything with my old stash of 12 inch GI Joes. In this case, as I was keeping track of the Marauder Task Force WWII Kickstarter campaign, the newest stretch goal was a Japanese American soldier.

It reminded me of a set of soldiers from Dragon I bought in the 2000s. There were two soldiers from the 442nd (Tak and Yoshi) and one soldier from the 100th Battalion (Nagashima). Nagashima came with a great mortar set.

The 442nd is a storied battalion, earning one of the highest count of Medals of Honor during WWII as these Japanese American soldiers fought in Europe.

The Last Jedi - Black Series - DJ and Rey (Island Journey)

These will probably be the last two Last Jedi movie figures we get in 6 inch scale. Hasbro is already gearing up for the Han Solo movie. I thought the DJ character was kind of annoying the first time I saw the movie, but then he grew on me the second time I saw it.

I thought Rey's journey has been a solid story arc even with all the Last Jedi criticism. Daisy Ridley is a great actor (in my opinion) and the Rey character has been great.

I think the Han Solo movie is going to be a lot of fun. Only two more months.
